On a rainy day last October, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with some heavy hitters in the wedding industry on a styled shoot.  Shealyn Angus Events originally teamed up with Jodi Leigh Florals and Corina V Photography, and together they brainstormed the most magical inspirational shoot – a terracotta countryside inspired wedding!

The rustic feel of Langdon Hall in Cambridge provided the perfect backdrop for this scene – even on the wettest day!  The sprawling fields and lush green grounds were the perfect contrast to the earthy rusts, coppers, clay potts and pampas grass.

 

The best part of this brilliant design, in particular the hip colour palate, is its versatility.  A fall, spring or summer wedding would be equally breathtaking – and memorable in its uniqueness.

Move over, boring, bland neutrals!

Genius stationary designer Paper & Poste created this incredible wedding invitation suite.  You have to be a true visionary to mix coppers, plums, blushes and browns this confidently!

ONE-OF-A-KIND SEATING CHART

Cabin Calligraphy created this one-of-a-kind seating chart, carefully crafted on raw leather and hung by a custom copper frame.  Again – a true master at her craft and real visionary!

The incredible pieces from Simply Beautiful Décor come together perfectly to create this dreamy tablescape – whitewash bistro chairs, layered ivory plating, walnut chargers and gold rim glassware, oh my!  Each and every aspect of this table, from the tapered candlesticks to the locally brewed apricot beer, are perfectly ensembled – and just look like they were meant to be!

This dessert table by Truffle Cake and Pastry truly is the icing on the cake ;). Who would dream to put all of these colours together, from the terracotta themed wedding cakes, to the soft lavender linens and the drool-worthy cinnamon bun pops?!  Magic!

TWO GOWNS

We chose two gowns to be shot as a part of this gorgeous shoot.  We felt a soft tone would lend itself perfectly to the palette, and we sure were not disappointed.

First we featured our Clementine gown by Willowby Watters.  The soft, bohemian feel could not have been more perfect, and everyone involved was just so excited about it!  With a soft, nude underlay and a delicate, layered skirt, it was like this gown was custom made for this shoot.

Next, we put Skye in our Riley Luxe gown by Made With Love Bridal.  This time a softer blush tone, with a more luxurious, sexy feel.  We still feel it was the perfect fit and cannot stop looking at the photos!  So dreamy!
